Recreational Trip Description
Discovery Ministries can custom design 2- to 14-day recreational wilderness trips.
These trips have the same physical challenge of a challenge trip without the mental and emotional challenge. We guide, cook, and instruct in the chosen adventure.
Rock climbing, white water canoeing, river trips in the north, backpacking in the mountains, and winter trips on Gulf Islands are a few examples of where we go and what we do. Basically, anything and anywhere we are capable of leading and getting permits, we will lead.

These trips are designed to enable adults or adults and teens to escape everyday pressures and experience wilderness activities they do not have the skill, desire, or equipment to plan or attempt on their own.
