You know your youth group best.
That's why we offer so many options. We want to be a resource for you to continue the ministry you have to your youth, not just be a one-time shot in the dark, and hope that it works.
When you call or e-mail, if you don't know exactly what we can offer to help accomplish your goals, we will be glad to take the time to work with you to figure out what activities or program will suit your group best. Whether you think they need challenge or need a break from the challenges they've been having at home, we're sure that we can fit in with your plan.
We've had youth ministers tell us they *can* get similar activities elsewhere, but what brings them back is our staff. We work hard to have well trained staff members that have a heart for campers; seeking campers best--not just what may feel good in the moment. And Becky's and Frannie's cooking is icing on the cake if you have us cater. When you have great staff and great cooking together, and add 13 acres of rustically developed camp on a total of 93 acres of Ozark woodscape and the Ozark National Scenic Riverways nearby, you have a receipe for a great time away from the normal hustle and bustle.
We love being used for ministry, here are some ways you can use us:
- If you know you want a retreat, look at our retreats page first.
- Recreational trips are a good option if you want to be out camping in the wilderness away from camp and want us to be in charge of everything for you.
- Challenge trips offer the most opportunities for personal growth. They are challenging trips!
- Maybe you want your group to give a little back. In that case you could plan to do awork project while you're here.
- Leadership/Team training is an opportunity to pour more specific training into your youth. So they're already great kids. Teach them what they'll need to know later as young adults.
- Who doesn't have conflict of some kind? Giving your youth an opportunity to know a little aboutconflict resolution will go a long way toward helping them have successfull marriage, ministries, jobs and families.
